GHES kindergarteners went on a hike this morning and used their sense of sight to explore nature. They then created (with the help of Mrs. Free) a picture poster of all the things they saw.

Green Hills Elementary 4th & 5th Grade Trip
Today, our 4th and 5th graders enjoyed a wonderful day of learning and adventure at Pine Mountain Settlement School for Farm Bureau Forestry Days.
🌲 They explored nature on a wildflower hike
💧 Examined invertebrates in a stream
🛠️ Discovered settlers’ wood working tools
🪵 Even learned how to make wood shingles
🪨They also done a habitat scavenger hunt on the Split Rock Trail!
It was a fun and hands-on experience that brought history, science, and nature to life! 🌿✨
