🎒 GEAR UP WEEK — TUESDAY: TOURIST DAY! 🌴📸 Green Hills Elementary students and staff packed their bags and dressed for adventure for GEAR UP Week Tourist Day! From sunglasses and sun hats to tropical shirts and vacation-ready outfits, our Falcons showed lots of school spirit! 💚💛 Tuesday’s theme reminded students that “Your Future Is an Adventure — Explore It!” GEAR UP Week is all about encouraging our students to dream big, explore future opportunities, and start thinking about where their education can take them. 💚💛 Help Our GHES Student Council Give Back! 💛💚 The Green Hills Elementary Student Council is excited to host a Snack Food Drive to support The Laurels from September 22nd–October 30th! We are asking our GHES families and community to help our students make a difference by donating individually packaged snacks such as chips, crackers, cookies, granola bars, fruit snacks, snack cakes, and pretzels. Every donation—big or small—helps our students experience the importance of kindness, service, and giving back to our community. 💚 Donations may be sent to school with students and given to their classroom teacher or Student Council representative. 💚💛 Together, Falcons make a difference! 💛

💚💛 GHES Student Council in Action! 💛💚 The GHES Student Council met to discuss upcoming community service projects and set goals for the 2026–2027 school year. Our student leaders shared ideas about ways they can give back, spread kindness, and make a positive difference both at Green Hills Elementary and throughout our community. We’re excited to see their leadership in action this year! 🦅✨ #GHES #StudentCouncil #StudentLeadership #CommunityService #FalconsMakeADifference
