GH Cheer tryouts this Thursday & Friday. This will be the last tryout to be on the 2026-27 cheer squad. Please, come prepared wearing shorts, tshirt, socks, and tennis shoes with hair in ponytail. Must attend both days of tryouts.

Green Hills students had a great day participating in Field Day at the Harlan County High School football field—full of action, laughter, and nonstop fun! From tug-of-war showdowns to relay races, tire rolling, sack races, and even limbo, everyone got in on the excitement. 💪🏽🏃♀️

Green Hills FRYSC celebrated the end of the year and kicked off upcoming KSA testing with their annual cookout! Hotdogs, homemade chili, macaroni salad, apple dump cake, along with chips, drinks, and snacks cakes were served to all the staff and students. Huge thanks to Darla Shepherd and Sheila Hensley for bringing it all together, and to Save the Children’s Angie Howard and Lyndsey McGinnis for helping serve and support. We hope everyone enjoined. A huge shoutout to everyone that donated. We appreciate you!

4th grade had some awesome poster entries for the annual 4H poster contest! Charlotte Mitchell took home 1st place for the entire county! Other winners were Adelina Whitehead, Natalie Thompson, and Lillian Mills. Congratulations ladies!
